Because Russians still live in the era where macho is popular.
Bosnia etc. should make you realise if you have no recourse to the law you have had it. The hooligan fans are too absolutely thick to realise just how out of order this is at this time. There is something to be said for neutering.

Defence for what mate ??? there is no defence for what the mindless knobs have been doing out there.... the same as there is no defending what England ( again minority ) fans have been doing for the last 30 odd years all over Europe.

Have you not seen that go pro video? We are not talking about history now mate. We are talking about a group storming through indiscriminately trying to kick [Poor language removed] out of anyone, some people try to have a go back and get hammered, all the Russians are tooled up. In the end I was glad to see the Russian get knocked out on the steps, even though, it was from behind. Hope some of the old school boys are in Lille.
