But England fans behaved intolerably and are as culpable as anyone for the distasteful scenes we've seen over the past few days right? The far right/ nazi's or whatever you want to call them have risen all over the continent, they used to go to the Euro Summit's & cause mayhem but they put city's under lockdown these days or hold them in the middle of nowhere, I was in Amsterdam when 1 was on & they had a fence around the city & a massive security operation, all kinds of Idiot groups were there to basically riot.
It's fairly clear that they are all using this tournament to do the same.....
Germans Kicking off
Ukranians too
Italy yet to play
Belgium nutters soon
There's a lot of potential for a hell of a lot more trouble, possibly even some of the meet ups that the eastern europeans like in forests away from games for a kick off.
The French that kick off at the club games wont be near the International team cos they can get a lot of what they want without leaving their towns.
Marseille is a melting pot of trouble at the best of times & their fans regularly kick off with each other as from gangs of diff nationalities.
England fans were causing trouble and provoking the police from Thursday evening before anyone else pitched up mate.
On Thursday night. On Friday too they were goading the Police and lashing bottles at the police until tear gas was fired. No other fans about mate.Didnt know that.
Looks like Dresden's ultras are at he heart of things up in Lille, although some lids I know who are up there reckon it's local French mobs attacking the Ukrainians. I suspect it's a bit of everyone attacking each other, a bit like in Marseille.
Very civilised here in Avignon. I'm just about to order food and have another glass of wine.

VOTE BREXIT FFS.Seems the whole continent is at it now! Bloody EU!
Someone's got the right idea. Enjoy man.Looks like Dresden's ultras are at he heart of things up in Lille, although some lids I know who are up there reckon it's local French mobs attacking the Ukrainians. I suspect it's a bit of everyone attacking each other, a bit like in Marseille.

Historically, our continent is the epitome of war.Seems the whole continent is at it now! Bloody EU!
How on earth can you be 100% certain when you see video like this?
The poor sod with the plastic bag was doing absolutely nothing to get himself sparked out cold. You can try your best to avoid being in dodgy places and to avoid responding to provocative actions (two things that a lot of English fans haven't been that good at) but sometimes even with the best of intentions you can't.
I've worked around plenty of Europe and with loads of different nationalities. On the contrary they're sound towards me and I get on well with them.Historically, our continent is the epitome of war.
We hate each other.
It's no different now, other than our politicians are less inclined to go to war with one another because it's more important to keep the capitalist systems in place for trade, etc.
Not that I'm advocating war, mind you. I'm sure the tens of millions of deaths also motivates the shying away from war, too.
But it does seem as though old adversaries and ingrained battles of culture die very hard.
We're a continent with various millennia of history, after all.
Because I wouldn't have been near bars. Large groups attract attention.
I've never got involved in any violence in my life and I've been to footy games and major cities and lads holidays.
I just don't look for it and wouldn't respond to provocation
