Haha. It was in a few papers, not my knowledge. But ok ;).

Actually the only person I know with any real inside info is a Southampton fan who still has connections in the club due to playing for their academy and still having friends their.

I have asked him a few times about VVD.

He believes he will stay. The club are rightly furious with Liverpool and do not want to sell. Whether his stance will force an issue who knows. Player power at its most ruthless. He has a long contract that he recently signed so partly his own fault he is tide to it.

He said they all hate Koeman too. That would make us dealing with them difficult.
But that is common knowledge.

VVD isn't very good and what's more I think even he knows it. It's why he signed the contract and why he's so desperate to leave now. He knows his star will fade and that this is last chance to sign for a club who'll pay him more money than the saints.

Now Keita aint joining I think they'll spend the coutinho money on this guy and if they do it'll be hilarious.

Understand what you're saying mate and probably agree with the sentiment. But isn't that just what Sigurdsson is doing to try and force a move through to ourselves; withdrawing from their US tour.

Behave yourself mate. He's a fantastic defender who I think most of us would agree would love here. Just because he is linked with a move to the RS doesn't change that.
