He definitely needs to be better in that department I agree.
I think the forward play is team related thing and not only his limitations. Movement is either poor or non existent in front of him.
He makes any wide player in front of him look worse in an attacking sense.
Hes so negative.

Be happy if he didn’t play again tbh another player not good enough. He pulled out of a header up there end so wouldn’t be surprised if he got injured going in half hearted to win the header for the goal.

1st goal was 100% down to Pickford for palming an easy catch right into the path of an attacker, but Mykolenko has no idea where his man is.
I’ve never understood the raving for this lad on here. Tony Hibbert was slated. Mykolenko offers no more than Hibbert going forward and neither he or Coleman could lace Hibbo’s boots defensively.

Most of the time he has Gray in front of him who lacks any football intelligence.
Gray is only good in tight spaces when moving the ball quickly and no time to think. Give him time and he mostly takes the easy pass backward...not sure that his best position is in the wing, perhaps he would be better playing centrally alongside a target man having a free role.
