Better than both of them by miles but wouldn’t get a start ahead of either of them shows how non existent and awkward he looks on the ball. Tbh he would probably be better going to centre back

Depends how the team is setup really...some love attacking full backs and others those you cant get past.

The defence has been largely crap the whole time he’s been here, but those two are infinitely better full backs, Baines especially.

He pulled out of 2 headers and ended up injured cause of the second one he probably wouldn’t of won the ball anyway but you still have to stay committed you don’t pull out. Thank god he’s no pistone got to be up there with one of the worst players I’ve seen in the league never mind for Everton. And I’d have baines and digne in they might not be as good defensively they can still do a job and offer a lot more going forward and in baines case set pieces, so it’s ok being superior defensively but conceding 3 to Bournemouth isn’t good enough while never looking like scoring the other end.

Far superior...even light years better than both defensively.

He’s a decent defensive fullback but he’s the kind of player that wouldn’t look out of place for a team like Southampton.

Not good enough for Everton, we’ve seen some good left backs, he’s not close.

This line that he’s absolutely magnificent defensively is really weird. He’s pretty solid, that’s it. Not always the most alert to situations or particularly proactive, but he battles hard and doesn’t make it easy for his man to beat him in a one on one. He’s fine, but we’re very much his level.

Each goal had a number of guilty players. The 2nd goal had about 3 or 4. That ball should have been cleared long before the so called bottling by Myko who didn't challenge regardless of going off injured because he erm ....challenged for the ball

He went to challenge then stopped hence why he went into the net with the ball no so called bottling he bottled it twice for headers can’t even blame not wanting to mess his hair up either. Watch it back you’ll see the so called bottling for yourself besides that we need better than him end of story not good enough.
