We should absolutely stick to a back 3 for the rest of the season. I’d play McNeil left wing back in games where we need to take the initiative a bit more, like next week. Then Mykolenko in away games where we need to sit in and play on the counter.

Very true, international games are walking pace though, gives poor/mediocre defenders time to reset. Quick transitions kill the lad and let’s face it English football is full of the crash, bang wallop transitions

I'd do this because his head is definitely not there. A young lad with a world of crap going on in his life, he needs a couple of weeks off for his own good.
He looks like a rabbit in the headlights these days, whereas he used to find comfort in the support he recieved.

We've gone from Baines and Digne to Mykolenko. I dont think he's terrible - but he's not providing what we need.

The days when we had Baines on one side and Coleman on the other were our best period of time in the PL. We have nothing of that now.
