Just an inch then, I'd have to say Digne doesn't look 5ft 10ins, I'd have thought more like 5ft 8 or 9ins. Hes poor in the air for that height then, always looks like a midget defending the post.

Weird how we all see things differently because I couldn't disagree with this more, especially when comparing Digne to Baines (who we all adore, yet never address how poor he could be defensively). I think Digne's great in the air and generally wins his duels, his problems are dealing with direct and pacey wingers.

I think.he looks lost at the far post when defending corners, in fairness to him though, our set piece set up often seems to leave him with a giant centre back to deal with.

Ah yeah, I was thinking mainly about aerial duels in open play. I'm not sure there are many of our players who look good defending set pieces at the moment..!

I think Moshiri certainly did interfere with transfers in the past but I feel that he did not do so under CA and probably won't under RB.

I think that is why he brought in managers of their pedigree...so that he could step back from making the mistakes he made.

When you look at the players signed under CA there is little doubt that they were picked by Ancellotti... certainly James and Allan. I think Doucoure should be credited to Brands.

The signings of Gray and Townsend were certainly the choice of RB.

I don’t think Moshiri thinks he’s made any mistakes though, that’s the scary thing. How many games of ours do you think he watches? Do you think he has any idea that Iwobi has been a shambles of a signing? I don’t.

This is one of those things where we have inherent biases which cloud our opinions. If you look at Digne's stats for aerial duels in open play, they are excellent, like well above the league average.
