Last saw Darracott when at Blackburn rovers for Amokachi's debut. Saw us waiting for Amo's autograph (daughter with me!!). Hardly anyone noticed him but I let on as he went past. Just gave a shy rueful smile. Nice guy I think. Not his fault he was no Tommy Wright. My mum taught his kids briefly.Still two great blues players Lyons snatched a load of goals and Darracott was a great tackler snitching the ball away from the winger!
We went top with that win! But only 4 players from the 1969-70 side just a couple of seasons later. Sigh.http://www.itnsource.com/en/shotlist/RTV/1972/09/09/BGY508210135/?s=everton

Yes he was becoming a great winger till the FA cup Altrincham game, at home when I was stood in the paddock and heard his leg break horrific tackle - never the same player after that I think he broke his leg in two places , and the guy only got booked!http://www.itnsource.com/en/shotlist/RTV/1972/09/09/BGY508210135/?s=everton
