No, I know what you mean but it's just something I'm immediately averse too, based off an old Seiko Chrono I had. I didn't like the strap (watch ended up being top-heavy unless you strapped it uncomfortably (for me) tight and there was little choice I had to change it, which sucked. Rookie mistake.Haha. Like anything more expensive. A mercedes or BMW could be seen as vanity when you could have a dacia. I don't think it's always true, though. With watches, there is the appreciation of the complications and the movement used in the watch. Like a petrol head appreciating the engine of a car.
