There’s even a word for it mate… Us watch enthusiasts are know as ‘horologists’.

Think of a nonce… But instead of fiddling with kiddies, we like to fiddle with watches.

Thanks. That looks lovely but I am just not a fan of the gold on watches. Just personal prefernce. Am looking at the Due with the blue face. Need to get to see one.

I know what you mean, I never was, especially yellow or rose (‘white’ looking close enough to steel to not attract me) but having got a couple of steel ‘sports’ watches I’ve been hankering for something a bit dressier for a while.

I just think it's amusing that people justify spending thousands on something cos of 'the mechanism ' and its not just to impress their mates

I’m always a bit unsure what to make of Jacob&Co watches after their initial 1990’s 5 time zone jobs that were huge statement pieces for rappers etc.
These modern ones certainly seem to have very complicated movements etc. Are they all in house or 3rd party movements rebadged with some added bling?
Just had a blimp at their website and their range looks like a cross between MB&F and Richard Mille, with few high jewellery Chopard/Cartier styles thrown in for good measure.

Agreed mate. The one above sounds like they collaborated with Bugatti engineers to produce a watch that supposedly replicates the Bugatti W16 engine?

It's no doubt a work of genius that is something to marvel at, but $300,000?!? That's a bit much, and even if I had the cash, I don't think I'd spunk it on that.

A nice watch is always a winner in a girls eyes. Well most girls, not these chav bints who rate themselves as a 10 but really they are a munter.

Back.on topic of watches. Got the chris ward c60 300. Like the watch, but im just not sure about the logo. It doesn't bother me as much as I thought it might, but toying with sending it back.
