I’d imagine he did it twice a day… Like when a stopped clock is right? My uncle used to frequent the docks, engaging with all the lasses that traded there.
He always said he was a horologist.

Cool piece that mate, treasure it. And GTF in, brilliant. The missus just bought me this for my birthday. I don’t really care how good a watch it is but as a prostate cancer survivor this means and lot to me.View attachment 214333
So odd people threw their toys out of the pram when Omega were happy enough to put their name on the dial.P

I'm so glad to hear this mate... My uncle recently just got a clean bill of health after being diagnosed with prostate cancer over a year ago. Thankfully they caught it in time and we can all now take a huge sigh of relief! The missus just bought me this for my birthday. Wear it in good health! And as a watch enthusiast, here's a good tip for when you go for your next prostate exam:
I hope this makes you laugh and puts a big smile on your face mate!

Ignore them, all Omega movements are Swatch these days - as are most movements in most watches
I've just bought a Tag F1 chronograph for daily, hated the steel strap so bought a replacement rubber one. Hate that too.
To be fair, the pedant in me says that Omega does now use some of their in-house 8500/8800 movements in the watches which (at least to them and many others) are not considered an ETA base movement.
