I find they come up a bit big on my wristWhat about a grandfather clock, lads?
I’d like to own one at some point in my life, solely because of how they’re built…
I mean the mechanisms inside must be a horologists wet dream alone!

Thank you!Very nice and congrats.
Is it steel or titanium, the finishing on the bezel is very interesting.
Also the different colour indices at 2 & 8, do they signify anything? Edit just noticed the other colours too - presumably an Olympics model!
LAD !!! This is a specialist time piece thread…. Not a poxy gadget shopI’ve never been a fan of watches. I’ve always found them uncomfortable and a bit unnecessary to wear an expensive one because of my line of work. I must admit though, a good watch catches my eye.
I was looking for a basic watch/stop watch for convenience and in the gym, but one thing led to another and now I’ve got an Apple Watch Series 8 and I love it. Was very unsure of which strap to go for, so I've gone for a fabric one with velcro so its infintely adjustable. I'll probably upgrade to a milanese one in future.

I’d suggest / recommend the silicone bands (apple or 3rd party) esp for the gym. Super comfortable, no messing with buckles / Velcro / magnetic closures and don’t need washing when they get sweaty!I’ve never been a fan of watches. I spent ages trawling through Amazon ect. but my wrists are quite big (hess) and it seemed none of the ones I wanted would fit me. I initially wanted the Nike Sport Band with all the holes in, but couldn't find the colour I wanted.I’d suggest / recommend the silicone bands (apple or 3rd party) esp for the gym.
