Watches

Not generally a fan of Richard Millie, certainly can’t afford one and not really sure what the fuss is with them, however in a moneys no object dream where I’ve won large sums of cash on the lottery, these would be a nice summer treat for Mrs Blue while motoring around the Med / Caribbean on a yacht….

Yeah, I kinda like them (not that I could ever afford one) but the comments on various watch forums are split between "ridiculous/ugly/McDonald's Happy Meal" and "fun/playful/love them"

Digressing slightly, I generally wear an Apple Watch for the health tracking stuff most days, however when I want to wear a ‘real’ watch, I miss the tracking functions. Really don’t want to wear a mechanical watch and an Apple Watch, can anyone recommend a decent fitness tracker that works well in the Apple ecosystem for occasional use?
Only really after steps, movement, stand time, heart rate would be nice but not a show stopper.

If you want a smart watch that looks like a watch...

Not bad, I’ve got their scales and BPM monitor already, however I have some mechanical watches already (wasn’t particularly clear in the OP) that I wish to wear with a fitness tracker that isnt a watch.
Obvious one would seem to be a Fitbit band but was looking for suggestions.

I seem to remember looking at the fitness bands ages ago because I like a mechanical watch as well. They're ridiculously expensive, aren't they? I ended up buying a Fitbit 5 and just wear it on my other wrist.

Just had a look and Fitbit’s are both more expensive then I thought they would be and looks like there’s some sort of subscription for some of the features….. thing is I’ll only want some thing maybe 4-5 times a month in place of my apple watch.
Suspect I’ll just have to live without the tracking on the occasional days I’m wearing a proper watch.
Looks like the sort of thing that would be ideal have all be discontinued in favour of more watch type devices. Jawbone UP24 or Fitbit Flex 2 would have down the job.
Edit - Garmin Vivosmart 5 looks like a possibility…

Went with a Garmin Vivosmart 4 in the end, their latest one (Vivosmart 5) is bigger than the 4 and being newer costs more too
Think it was £62, does my steps, stairs, and sleep, also get phone notifications on it plus it lasts 5 days. Does other fitness stuff too but wear the Apple Watch for exercising.
Tend to keep it on all the time now, even when wearing the Apple Watch.
