Watches

@wm02

'bout as new as you're gonna' get (the article/list)...list of smaller g-shocks. can't vouch for the site but everything's worth a glance.

My oldest son (10) has become somewhat obsessed with G-Shocks. Are there any that would be a good size for a kid?

He has great taste! To answer your question, no (as far as I know)...the smallest is a 43mm case, which is still larger than an Omega Seamaster (new models are 42mm), or a Rolex Sub (latest model is 41mm). I think 43mm would look pretty big on a 10yr old wrist and the strap probably wouldn't fit around a small wrist.

While it's no G-shock, I believe Timex Ironman and Timex Marathons come in smaller sizes; they are decent.

@verreauxi

Swear there's a feckin' quartz movement in this Kamasu...been tracking it with the WatchCheck app (geek alert) and it's now averaging +1.3 a day on wrist for the last 3 weeks.

I mean, for a sub $200 mechanical in-house...shazam

That's crazy! Them engineers at Seiko know how to build an inexpensive and great watch. COSC levels, comfortably.

I’ve got 2 an every day and a dress.

My everyday is an Omega Speedmaster 35th Annivsary of Apollo 11 special edition. I could do with sending it off to have the glass and bracelet replaced to be honest.

My dress is an IWC Chronograph Automatic in Rose gold. Don’t wear that to often though

Those are great watches! You don't see too many rose gold IWC's around these parts.
