Watches and Wonders next week in Geneva….. any speculation on new or exiting stuff (that most people can’t afford, inc me)
Rolex speculated to be releasing one or two new models inc the GMT ‘Sprite’ in right hand model, possible 70th anniversary sub date and ceramic bezelled precious metal Daytonas…..

Here are the Rolex new releases 2023, which including a redesigned Daytona, the new and unexpected 1908 collection, and several new product upgrades.

Rolex is so glacially slow to update their watches. If I recall, though, only the Datejust II and the Milgaus haven't had substantial redesigns over the years (at least in their sport models). So perhaps one of those. The recent upgrade of the Yacht-Master was disappointing, since they basically just made a 42 version with a black bezel. I still prefer the older 40mm with the silver dial, which is now discontinued.

I don't mean to brag, but I just ordered this. I have a Tag Heuer aquaracer,a nice Seiko auto, 2 G-shocks, and a 'vintage' Casio.

I always wear the cheapest Casio. You barely feel it, it works, it's not annoying. Anyway, Casio types have been giving pretty good reviews to the extremely cheap Skmei watches, so I thought I'd have a look.

€20. Bargain.

Why innovate when you can put all your R&D cash in to marketing; it clearly works.

Don't worry, I shall be pushing buttons in the rain. It's rated to 3atm so no different to a cheap Casio.

Any one got any titanium watches, if so how do you get on with them, ie nice and light, scratch resistance etc etc?
Becoming strangely drawn to them (seem to have gotten over ceramic for now!)
Although this scratches both itches

Never really understood watches, especially in the modern day, does anyone never know what the time is, folk are on their phones all day !!

Had a Titanium Sinn. Loved it. Grade 5 titanium and didn't scratch easily at all.
Titanium watches take some getting used to as they are so light.

Not everyone is on their phone all day, and a watch is easier than getting your phone out.

They’re quite simple once you understand them. Basically the small hand points to the hour of the day and the long one is minutes past the hour. If there’s a 3rd one moving faster than the other two, then that’s seconds.
