Audemars Piguet Terminator 3 Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Limited Edition 25863TI
Circa £30k for a good one, if my very brief research is close to correct. Featured in T3: rise of the machines. Completely laughable, the watch is worth 10 times the vehicle he finds it in.

Always been a fan of the Breitling Navitimer.

Would rather much have one over a Tag Heuer or Rolex.

The €20 Skmei arrived.

Slightly bigger than the Tag and Seiko, with a weight similar to the Seiko.

It looks nice enough. No oddities, or annoyances. The finish seems perfectly good, but that's something only time will tell!

Looking at the posts above, it's clear what their 'inspiration' was.

The chronometer is suspect. Seems glitchy to operate, and the hour hand refuses to go back to zero! Crown is push in, as you'd expect.

The bracelet seems pretty good, similar feel again to the Seiko, but the finish on the clasp is better on the Seiko, as you'd expect.

Looks nice but all I can see on a watch like this is whether the E6B is lined up or not. Much less tell what the the current time may be. Then again, at my current age I can't see anything anymore unless I put on reading glasses (or have taken off my regular glasses), so if I'm in the market for pilot style watch it would be big numbers like this beauty.

that said, this is a beautiful dial if you can ignore all of the numbers, so maybe I'm not entirely out on these...

Anyone got recommendations of where to sell watches, looking to get rid of a couple of Tags to make another purchase

I would recommend the watch forum watchuseek.com It's a large forum that has a huge reach. However, I seem to recall that you need to be a member of this forum for like 100 posts (so as to establish credibility) before you can list a watch for sale. In general, you'll get far more $$ selling it yourself than if you sell it to a business that deals in used sales (e.g., in the USA, Govberg Jewelers, Crown and Caliber, etc.). But selling it yourself is not without hassles, such as determining who pays for shipping, whether or not you are willing to ship internationally (I would avoid this option), and whether they buyer is trying to scam you, etc...

If I want to put a new band on a watch I own--specifically want to replace a metal band with a leather strap--are there any rules (practically or stylistically) I should follow? Should I just take it to a shop and have them replace or should I find a strap online and do it myself? Or should I keep wearing my rubber strapped Garmin instead and not pull out the old watch?
