Richarlison - came off injured against Chelsea > plays 3 days later against Leicester > plays 3 days later against Watford > plays 3-4 days later against Brentford in a massive game.

Can you not see the potential problem there? Even if he doesn't get crocked you've still only got a player at 60% which we cant afford in this situation.

We need fresh legs running around 90 minutes.

If Lampard doesn't rotate 2-3 players it could backfire massively if we dont get 3 points tomorrow as you have a half tired team playing days later against a decent Brentford side who play with zip.
An opportunity to win a game against an out of form, already relegated side and secure our safety..

And you are talking about resting players ?

Christ.

Dont know if that is good or bad for us, depending how the replacements do as the replacements sometimes perform better
It's good. They are missing 6 or 7 first choice players. They haven't got a squad like many city . 3 of their back 4 is out and and 4 or 5 of their best attacking players as well.
No excuses if we don't win.

Hodgson confirms that Sarr, Dennis, Cleverley, Louza, Kucka, Femenia, King, Forde and N'Koulou are all now out for tomorrow night's match with either injury or sickness - Cucho is still out, Joao Pedro has trained once since missing Palace, hope is he will be okay #WatfordFC

Its not about resting players! Its seeing the bigger picture.

We have 4 games left - two of our players have come off in the last 2 games with cramp/knocks and we have players like DCL, Dele, Allan who can contribute but our fans would rather risk a key player like Richarlison or Gordon playing half fit for one game, getting injured and missing the last 3 just because they think Watford will roll over for us.

Games aint won on paper - losing to Burnley then beating Chelsea, Leicester and Utd should have shown people that.

Watford are down already they have no fear and can just play football and sometimes that can spell trouble - I recall already relegated Sheffield Utd playing King Carlos european chasing Everton off the park beating them 2-0 at Goodison last season.

If any of this is true, then there absolutely NO excuse for us not to bag the 3 points now.

My concern is that fringe players at Watford with an expiring contract will be given an opportunity to play the game of their lives to prove a point.

Sarr and King gave our defence nightmares at Goodison. I think Dennis scored too.

Those injuries weaken them, but that doesn't mean it will be easy by any means.

I think the lad Kamara in midfield is out with suspension as well, and he's good. I would be interested in signing him.
He's left back Kamara.
Let's be honest here they are missing 7 or 8 first choice players. Are already down

We could not have asked for a better chance to win another game away from home.

If we win our next 2 we are safe. That has to be the target.

If we get to a position of safety, and that's a long way away, then give Richarlison, Gordon etc and whoever else is tired, a long extended holiday. But until that point, we need our best team and no complacency whatsoever. 2 games changed our fortunes in a positive manner, but 2 bad results can do the opposite.
