Interesting point, I'd rest a few including Richarlison who they would love to see injured
I don`t think resting players is an option, no way I`d throw away 3 points v Watford thinking Bentford and Palace at home are bankers.

As I have said a win here would mean 1 win from the last 3, that`s if we need any more at all. Get it done early, got to go as strong as possible and get as many points as possible from every game. Deal with injuries and fatigue when they arise or through the training.....

Yeah but is Watford a banker? On paper all 3 should be, but fatigue and injuries is something we do have to think about.
Rather go strong at home, twice, then concentrate on these yard dogs

No Watford is not a banker and they are fully capable of turning us over that is why we don`t need to upset the rhythm or momentum of the team.

What if he `rests` players and we lose, all of a sudden you give a massive boost to them below you, if we win and the gap is 4 points that will be massively damaging to their confidence.

I hate the term resting players, players would rather play than train!

I`d find it easier to accept a rotated side at home with all our support behind the team....

A win at Watford and anything against Brentford means we could probably see some kids for the rest of the season as we`d be safe, gotta get it done ASAP, we cant let it go to the last game of the season by tinkering with the team.

I’m weirdly more anxious about this than I was the Leicester game, could be that our great result at Leicester was unexpected, could also be because these snake waving melts mullered us last time we played, mostly I think it’s because Everton on good form are usually nailed on to balls up in a obscure and unexpected way

Think it just seems very “un-everton” to not throw a massive spanner in the works. We don’t tend to do anything comfortably so why would we beat a crap team who are already down? Especially after finally ending our away hoodoo. They’ve hurt us too many times for us not to be wary. Let’s hope tomorrow is different.

Would rather keep momentum rolling than rest anyone, lose, and then have the pressure ramped back up.

If we win this game then the injuries might not even matter as we’d be almost home and hosed.

Are people really talking about resting players? We are one point above the relegation zone. We need to build upon the great momentum we’ve built and get points banked. I can’t believe people think that this set of players has enough credit in the bank to rely on them to perform. We’ve turned a real corner, no doubt, but we are not in a position to rest. We beat Watford and this nightmare could all be over by Sunday.

Exactly - we dont have the medical/fitness department to play 3 games in 7 days sadly.

For me go:

Pickford

Kenny Keane Holgate Mykolenko

Doucoure Allan Gomes

Gray DCL El Ghazi

Give Richy/Gordon/Delph/Iwobi a rest.

Coleman plays better at Goodison anyway.

El Ghazi may just have a point to prove.

….you certainly do want us to be relegated!!
