That is exactly the kind of thought that worries me!!

They can finally just head out for a nice game of footy with no pressure, no worries at all.
Or they could walk out on to the pitch with the only thought in there mind being - we might be down but we can still play a major part in who we want to join us...
All true - but there does come a point where our wasters have actually got to show that they merit being Premier League players. As anxious as I am about this game (and this horrible season), I don't think any of us have a leg to stand on if we lose to Watford. That would be defeats to Norwich, Watford, and Burnley. Worse case scenario tomorrow where we still have some credibility as a team is a draw. That would be a missed opportunity, but there is a bigger picture at play now: it would be point number 11 out of a possible 18 in the United, Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, and Watford sequence. That suggests a modicum of momentum that our previous six games never did. So, main thing is to avoid defeat. Go for the win, give it a proper focused go, take the first real chance we create and we've got every chance. But under no circumstances lose this. We still have two more home games to garner another, say, four points. That could well do it.

It was great that Wolves got that equaliser against Chelsea. Chelsea need to stay in third to avoid qualifier games for the champions league so really should put some effort in against Leeds after Arsenal beat them to get closer.

Anyway, Watford, yeah we’ll beat them as long as we keep up our recent performance levels. Shame about the Liverpool and City results we had but we’ve played well for a few weeks now.

Make no bones; this is Watford's last chance saloon to inflict some gory on the PL....take a perennial PL scouser club down with 'em is all they have left.

Anybody...anybody, at Finch Farm who's expecting anything other than a 'nothing left to lose' psychology from Elton's hobos, should exit right now.

But good coaching (mainly in headspace) should see us through.

I think delph will be rested for the weekend, presuming Mina out:

-------------Pickford
Coleman Keane Holgate Mickey

----Iwobi Allan Doucoure

---Gordon Richarlison Gray
Hopefully Allan will just sit in, and not commit too much - i feel like lampard will want to include DCL at some point before the end of the season, dont know whether itll be tomorrow or not

I thought even the 4th placed team automatically qualified for the group stages now?

A win here would guarantee to put us 4 points above he drop zone with 3 games and 9 points to play for with 3 shots at guaranteeing survival with 1 more win and 2 home games in the offing.

Winning at Watford would just be the icing on the cake for our upturn in form, we are more than capable, we might not even need another point if we get to 38 tomorrow night with the fixtures Burnley and Leeds have. Obviously dependent on Leeds result tomorrow against a rotated Chelsea side.

Southampton are a team that could fall in last minute.com, on 40 points with just 2 to play which is Liverpool (H) and Leicester (A)

I`m going for a 1-0 win for the spirit of the blues and a 2-0 defeat for Leeds but wouldn`t it be nice to see a nice comfortable game after all the heart attacks we`ve had to endure recently. If that is the case just 2 points needed to guarantee we stay up, I for one hope we do and can not wait for this season to finish...
