Anyone know where Branthwaite is? Wasn’t on the bench v Leicester and we are having an under the radar defensive shortage if Myko, Mina and Godfrey aren’t fit.

I'd love to say we'll win, but I simply do not trust these players to beat a team that has lost its last 11 homes games straight. Lampard has done superbly in the wake of the Burnley debacle to instill desire and structure, but the clown show that is our defence continues to alarm only to be bailed out by world-class level goalkeeping.

In my view, we cannot afford to ease off on the focus now. This is a glorious opportunity to take three vital points - probably the best opportunity to do so that remains. If we can win this, the manager will have definitively proven that his work is bearing sustainable fruit. But a defeat here would throw a lot of the good work away and raise alarming questions. A draw would be a relative disappointment, but not the end of the world. We will be in this until we aren't. Four games left. The dream for me is to make the final game meaningless - in a good way. Vicarage Road will tell a tale. I don't trust the players. I want to trust the manager. I want rid of almost all of the players come season's end no matter the outcome. I would like to persist with the manager - but only if he has earned it by keeping us up. Therefore, here's to Frank earning the right to rebuild us over the summer - and to firing virtually the entire squad into the Irish Sea (surfacing, preferably, somwhere in the vicinity of Sellafield).
Can you not find another method of getting rid of them? I really don’t fancy the likes of Cenk Tosun washing up on the Isle of Man.

How good would a pretty boring 2-0 sound here????
Scored within the first 30 minutes too, then shut up shop and comfortably play keep ball with no dramas.

We can dream.

Anyone else remeber that clown Ben Foster criticising us mean old fans earlier this season? I wonder how the cringeworthy little knobhead will feel when our fans rock up at the bin that is vicarage Road and down out his embarrassment of a fanbase. Maybe if Watford had fans one millionth as good as ours they wouldn't just go down without a fight and treat relegation as an occupation hazard that was inevitable and just somthing to he accepted season after season.
Good post

Well remembered, let’s shove spirit of the blues up his arse for two hours

Beautiful

If we reverted to a back 5 after the last couple of games I think I’d walk into the sea before kick off.

Pickford

Coleman
Holgate
Keane
Myko

Doucoure
Allan
Iwobi

Gray
Rondon
Richarlison

Gray’s selfish running might actually benefit us against whoever their stand-in LB is, and we can switch it up and go long to The Lump when we need to get from back to front quickly, get Richy sniffing around the second balls.

Even in the midst of our dire form this would be a game we’d be in with a sniff of winning. Setting aside my “Everton, that” sense that’s tingling like mad, for a minute, we should brush these aside and defo not have to change our shape to do it.
It's looked very much a back 5 to me,coleman tucked in and iwobi wing back, though it's fluid depending on possession. I like it

Sounds like everyone's feeling the same as me. No need for Winston Wolfe to remind us what not to do quite yet as we're not quite out of the woods.

If the club had any sense they'd put a fleet of free buses on for everyone who was at Leicester (and anyone else who wants to go).

Hopefully we've genuinely turned abit of a corner and put these to the sword.

Always that nagging feeling that we could balls this up after doing all the hard work in weeks gone by.
