Think it just seems very “un-everton” to not throw a massive spanner in the works. We don’t tend to do anything comfortably so why would we beat a crap team who are already down? Especially after finally ending our away hoodoo. They’ve hurt us too many times for us not to be wary. Let’s hope tomorrow is different.

The spanner in the works has been the whole season apart from the first few games and the last few games

We're out of spanners

….you certainly do want us to be relegated!!

You'll be crying if Richarlison or Gordon or Delph pulls their hammie and misses the last 3 games.

We dont have a good fitness department its as simple as that.

Gordon was knackered against Leicester and did nothing so instead of letting him recharge his batteries for 2 big home games you would rather flog him even more than give someone with fresh legs a chance to impress?

The attitude of an archaic fanbase.

Exactly - we dont have the medical/fitness department to play 3 games in 7 days sadly.

For me go:

Pickford

Kenny Keane Holgate Mykolenko

Doucoure Allan Gomes

Gray DCL El Ghazi

Give Richy/Gordon/Delph/Iwobi a rest.

Coleman plays better at Goodison anyway.

El Ghazi may just have a point to prove.
If it was the league Cup 2nd rd then probably, but this isn’t.

But whats the point in playing tired players?

What did Gordon offer against Leicester thats worth flogging him more?

We're not Liverpool who can play the same starting 11 every single game without fatigue/injury.

Leicester shuffled the deck against us because they only played 3 days prior, Man City wont play the same team against Wolves as they did against Newcastle.

Those clubs have miles better conditioning than we seemingly have u
yet our fans expect the same starting 11 to play, roll Watford over then do the same on the weekend after just playing physically tough games against Chelsea and Leicester.

Naive imo.

The 2 home games are our bread and butter.

Same can be said of why change a winning team. Four games to go and if we win tomorrow then that’s almost certain we’re staying up. If they’re not carrying a knock then play them.

Richarlison - came off injured against Chelsea > plays 3 days later against Leicester > plays 3 days later against Watford > plays 3-4 days later against Brentford in a massive game.

Can you not see the potential problem there? Even if he doesn't get crocked you've still only got a player at 60% which we cant afford in this situation.

We need fresh legs running around 90 minutes.

If Lampard doesn't rotate 2-3 players it could backfire massively if we dont get 3 points tomorrow as you have a half tired team playing days later against a decent Brentford side who play with zip.
