If we win tonight we go four points clear of those two teams.

If they both lose their next game they can still mathematically get another six points.

So no, sadly we will still need another three points if we win tonight.

(though two would do it as Leeds GD is way worse than ours).
Leeds play tonight also same time mate

Watford v Everton

Read Jake Osgathorpe's full preview

Everton's recent upturn in form has come thanks to an improvement in organisation and stability, with both contributing to stronger defensive displays.

Across their last five - in which they have played Leicester (twice), Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool - the Toffees have allowed 1.34 xGA per game. That is impressive, and a marked decrease on their season average before that run, which stood at nearly 2.0 xGA per game.

In that same sample, Everton have generated just 1.04 xGF per game, which tells us that chances have been few and far between at either end in their games of late, and I expect this trend to continue as they visit a toothless Watford.

So, it was pleasantly surprising to see UNDER 2.5 GOALS available at a best price of 39/40, with the 10/11 widely available also considered a decent enough price.

Score prediction: Watford 0-1 Everton (Sky Bet odds: 6/1)
I'm banking on goals tonight. So I'm going for over 2.5 goals. And all for Everton. Must check also what over 3.5 goals pays.
But as much as we all like to get a bet up. And considering that I only bet small with regards to goals scored. I will take any sort of a win tonight.
But it's 4-0 for me. Who knows. It's about time that Gray and Gordon scored a few. Take our chances. And who knows.

This is the kind of bullcrap that usually forbodes something bad will happen. But who knows!

It is match day and I’m working from home today, just a great beginning to my day and I’m looking forward to Everton making it even better later today :D COYB!

So am I, 24 degrees today. Just been to neighbours house for BBQ now sleeping off the vino with a quick siesta before a trip to the bodega. Might have to do a bit of work at some point but life is so much better when Everton win. Enjoy mate :)

Was more confident of a result in the last two games. It's just that it would be so Everton to lose to a last minute goal tonight against a depleted relegated side. Sad I know.

Was offered 2 tickets for Brothers Osborne tonight, seen them few times since 2017, couldn't get any Watford tickets so a bit of Country to take the mind off the match! Im guessing will be glued to GOT and live ticker all way through!

Come on Blues lets do this!

"stay a little longer!"(for those that know)

UTFT
And here was me thinking the Dixie in your name was for Mr Dean but it was in fact for the Dixie Chicks!

Its been too long since I've had this dangerous feeling of expecting an Ev win.
True. Two matches that I really expected Everton to win in the past were those cup matches against Wigan , and then that match against the mainly Liverpool kids. And we all know how those turned out.
But this feels different. Seems that everything has gone wrong for Watford. And we are in this little roll. So let's just boot this banana skin into touch.
Just hope at around 10 o' clock tonight that we are all wondering what we were all worrying about.
Famous last words ........But we will be ok tonight.

Gracias amigo! 24 degrees sound like my kind of weather, here in Asheville still the morning time so I may have to leave the vino for later once Everton wins and I feel like having a celebration at knowing that our chances of relegation can become a thing of the past :)

At least 7,000 of our brilliant away fans will make sure we triumph.
