He'd a least make a good captain, lead by example and hopefully try motivate his teammates on the pitch and give them a kick up the arse when it's needed unlike the mouse Jagielka.

If he came on a free and accepted the average everton wage - around 70k or less. Then fine, he would be a seriously good impact sub and back up for injured St /cm. No way he should be captain.
 

As much as I don't like or forgive him as an Evertonian. That's the only reason I have for not wanting him here. He'd have to win things with us and give us some great moments for me to forgive him. But people giving footballng reasons to why he shouldn't come are wrong. My brain tells me it's a good move for many footballing/comercial reasons. My principles don't.
