He's a better option than any of our current back-up forwards. So yes, instant improvement.

He'd be ideal to help the young lads along and develop.

We're going to be playing a lot of games next season should all go to plan and having a player who has won everything (pretty much) there is to win in our domestic game, plus Europe, plus knows the club well, would help and be ideal for squad rotation.

He's still got quality if played right and by a manager who would know how and when to use him. (Mourinho does and I'm pretty sure Koeman would).
