Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

tbf, what more could he have achieved? When he was young he always seemed a great great player, but he never seemed like a naturally great goalscorer, yet he's still become the record every scorer for england's most successful club and the national team. He's won every cup there is to win as a domestic player (bar the europa which he may win in a couple of weeks time). He's not exactly been a waste has he? Yeah, he could have made his career last a bit longer, but he has nothing left to win. He can't win an intentional tournament because he plays for a bad international team, so that can't really be used to beat him with and i can't see anything else.

I agree. You are indeed describing a great career. All the boxes are ticked. It will be all those medals everyone will remember about Wayne Rooney the footballer. His contribution to a game of football, though, withered as he conformed and contributed only to the specific interests of Manchester United Football Club. A model professional. A haul of medals to match his natural ability. A true talent contained and restrained and a near genius nipped in the bud...

Why do most people assume he'd be
A positive influence on the young players if he came back? In my eyes he's achieved all he's achieved in the game through his freak like talent.players wanting to make it in the game can't look at his dedication away from the pitch and think they are sensible guidelines to follow. He dosnt strike me as a role model in how to look after himself. If anything the youngsters are just going to look at him and wonder why Gareth Barry is 5 years older than him but in better condition.

Is it just me who thinks he looks like he's lost weight this season?

He better not come back and be number 9.. I'd like us to have a fantastic number 9 not another awful one..

Go to USA Rooney please

Hopefully he'll head off to the LA Galaxy or somewhere appropriate for a washed up has been. He'll probably want a signing on fee consisting of 50 Big Macs and 50 Milkshakes up front as well.

Would tie in with the Lukaku staying till Christmas rumour going on around here a couple of weeks ago, to see if we have a chance of top 4. If we are not in the top 4 by then, Lukaku sold in the January window.
