State of some of these threads 7th best team in England and making noises that we are trying to kick on but hey let's not let that get in the way of kicking OUR club, board, staff, players current and possible incomings.

Fear for some of the guys mental health on here, be strong and POSITIVE.

Rant over........... might regret this but 2nd coffee before 9am has kicked in.
.

2nd? Lightweight :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:

My older brother heard it from a good sauce at FF we are in for Rooney!
hope its bull?

It'll get a big splash of media attention. Rooney will turn it on in a few games early in the season and everyone will say it's a master-stroke. Then the season will wear on and it'll become tired and the novelty will wear off and the performance levels will slip and we'll realise we have a player in his 30s with a lot of mileage on the clock and it was a ridiculous thing to have brought him back.

It'll all end in tears if it happens.

Oh ffs. What does Koeman see in him that we don't? The fact of the matter is he's finished at this level - his legs and his explosive pace have gone, and a transfer isn't going to bring them back. Do we really want to be taking the deadwood of a club just 1 place above us in the league if we're trying to really kick on?

I bet you a million quid we wouldn't even be talking about this if he didn't play for us before.

no he wont cos he just cant anymore, it'll turn sour very quickly and hopefully he'll be let go in january

As I've said before the saddest thing if this happens is that it will divide the fans. There will be dissenting voices at the match and it will affect the atmosphere, disappointing if true.
Once a traitor always a traitor.
