That might have been true then but even the time that's elapsed since that game has taken its toll.

Besides that there is supposedly a rebuilding programme going on and how he could fit into the future I have no idea. He has another season maximum left as a PL player, imo.

Another gripe I have is that he always seems to enjoy his summer break too much and lets himself go, but the older he gets the harder it will be to get back into the fitness regime.
