Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Don't forget 'Usmanov 1,000,000% by last Christmas'. 'Lukaku to sign new deal'. And I can quote more.
Problem is, he tells supporters what they want to hear, so they call him an itk.
Nah his best by a mile was when the Mail had an exclusive that we were about to be taken over/invested in and it WASN'T the heavily rumoured Americans. Good old WRD rubbished the report and categorically stated "it's the Americans and has always been the Americans".

24 hours later Moshiri was confirmed as our new investor.

LOL.

Thing about Rooney is that he needs to play regularly, I think that the reason his form has been so indifferent for the mancs this season has been his lack of game time. Throughout his career after a lay off he has always seemed to need a run of games to get back to his best.

Problem is, would he play every week here? I'm not convinced that he would.

He's clearly got info as he's got far too many things right that nobody would have a clue about like Oviedo going to hospital etc.

Which translates into lack of match fitness caused by not playing.

As you say, would he play every week ?

Probably not.

Which wouid mean a partially fit, high earner on the bench.

He works in some capacity at Everton he says, so gets some info.
The big stuff I have read in the last year he has been way off.

What's he been way off on?

He got the capacity wrong on Usmanov but his holding company giving us money for literally no benefit tells it's own story.

He clearly gets more right than wrong and is the best source out there at the moment.

That really is a poor statement if it comes on the back of Lukaku and Barkley leaving. What does it say other than "Everton cant keep their current stars so have to take back their old faded stars"?

I like Rooney, but this is going backwards. This is not what we were promised.

'1 million percent cent in control of Everton by Xmas' is not the the same now is it?
'All the London media know it's Usmanov's money behind Moshiri'.

C'mon now. He has no idea on this one and is guessing.

I don't think people have watched him over the last 2/3 years.
He's crap boys. Open your eyes and see him for what he is at this present time.

If he is the marquee signing then we are going backwards rapidly. I don't think I can watch him play for Everton after this season as it would wind me up too much.
I'd seriously be thinking about a refund on my season tickets. NEA

Agreed.

Rooney would not be a signing that would make you think Everton mean business.
Especially if we do see the departure of 2 high profile players approaching their prime.
