Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Klose is 39 in under 3 weeks, and retired, so I don't think that's a good idea.
My point was that someone's history is not necessarily a window into their future. Rooney is struggling to get in to a team that will marginally outperform our team in the league this season and has been in decline for a few seasons by every metric.

I just dont see the point.
The cost would outweigh any benefit to the club.
IMO.

Unless we are planning a 7th place or lower, in which case knock yourselves out Everton.

Jesus your definitely a pint half empty type of guy!! We are all entitled to an opinion, you don't like mine, I don't like yours. End off. Only time will tell!

He's been a bit part player this season so nobody can know if he has got something left to offer or not. Drop your attitude as well

lol what attitude? this is a forum for debate and all i did was respond to you points. jeez bit senstive arent you

I was absolutely sickened by his behaviour after scoring at GP on the Saturday of Alan Ball's death (end April 2007).

This went to the bone for me.....however, I am prepared to forgive as I firmly believe that, in life, by bearing grudges for a long time against someone who has hurt you, it is you who are diminished.

Nice and light philosophical/theological post for this time on a Saturday night - I know - but it is genuinely the way I feel.

He is older and hopefully wiser. Physically the miles are on the clock and that is a concern.

However, if we get him for sfa, and he really wants to come back I will welcome him and hope that he smashes all of the hurt by having the season of his career.

That when he kissed their badge?

We were two up after 50 minutes. After 60 Turner dropped the ball at the feet of O Shea. Then Neville scored an o.g. from a Ronaldo header. Rooney scored the third with 11 minutes to go and charged over to the Mancs fans grabbing his badge etc etc - "Once a Blue???"

They got a 4th right at the end, but it was the total lack of respect on the day that we had respected Bally at the beginning that sickened me. Ok probably not the highest IQ in the world but he should have known better.

Anyway, as I posted, I am prepared to move on if he joins. I just hope his body can put in a decent season or two and he is not another long term sick note.
