I'm not sure Giggs and off field activities make a great argument in this instance.

I posted this a while back but chatting to a youth coach at Man U he told me he had never seen kids respond to a training session like the one Rooney took.

The other argument I don't get is that he would be good influence for the youth, why? If anything he's shown himself to be a poor professional throughout his career. The drinking, gambling and smoking, banging birds behind his wife's back, one of which was an actual pensioner, taking his club for an absolute ride on his contract renewals (which is a main source of Utd fans beef with him) and just generally not putting in the sort of extra graft fitness wise to stay ahead of the curve like the likes of Ronaldo and giggs did

Probably because he's actually won things, unlike our squad.

Ronko slaps a good pre season on him, more game time, and hopefully a bit of hunger to win something in blue.
