You think he will, Not sure whether he can stand up to the pressure the 100m pound price tag will bring. He cant seem to handle the pressure in big matches, every game will be a big match for him now. Wait till that great first touch of his gets highlighted. do you think the manure fans will be as forgiven as the Evertonian were. I think he just might struggle a bit.

I do, but I was going for a bit of a reverse karma/scud.
He's treated the club badly at the end, especially with all of his tweets and Pogbas messages from UCLA.
If he struggles then all the better

Last season, when someone asked, who Everton was, it was like; we have Lukaku. -ooh

This season it will be like; we have Rooney. -ooh

My arms has been above my head since monday, my neck is starting to hurt, from texting.

The timing of this signing, if up until now we hadn't signed anyone and this was our first 'in' then I think it could/would of been recieved differently. The fact that this is signing number 5 (first team signings) is a real positive, but when you factor that number 5 is 31 and the other 4 major signings are all between 21-24 years of age then Rooney really could help.

My brother knows Super Kev quite well. He once asked him how he felt about EFC. Super Kev said "Well, I'm an Arsenal boy really, but Everton... Everton are here" and points at his heart.

I thought I couldn't love him anymore, then you go and do this to me!
I was lucky enough to be born on the same day as the big man. He was a ray of light in very dark times

That you are the banned poster @butters and I think he's hit the nail square on the head. Massive bedwtting WUM you.

Never thought I'd see the day in all honesty.

Really?

I think most people saw this coming around four years ago. It's about as predictably Everton as it gets - sell a star player, buy a has been. Rooney takes his proud place at the seat of a table that includes Ginola, Gascoigne et al.

It really isn't a surprise to me in the slightest. It's just a disappointment, which is strange because two years ago I'd have been elated with him coming back.

Exactly. I think the fact we have gone in for him has been strategised and carefully thought out.
