To be fair he shouldn’t be playing every match. I think he can still be useful obviously, but why not bring him off bench or give him a game off here and there. He is still young in actual years but he has a lot of miles on his body, inthink managing hisnminutes we can get the best out of him

Try him in midfield 3 with Davies and Gana.
Pace out wide and Niasse up top.

It should be clear that he doesn't deserve a place in the squad. He keeps better players out of the squad, pushes others out of position, and his substitute appearances would only take away from chances given to younger more promising players. And for what? His contributions are limited and his style does not mesh with the rest of the squad. At this stage of his career, he is only good for the odd match in unimportant competitions; the league cup for example.

He doesn't have the pace to do anything further up the pitch, that's why he's dropping deeper all the time.... Legs have gone, should not be starting for us because of his reputation from years ago...

So I don't expect many (if any) to agree with me, but Rooney needs binning off and used only as a sub sparingly.

I can't put my finger on what it is, but we just don't seem to play like a team who knows how we should be playing and where everyone's position should be when he's on the pitch.

I'm probably being harsh but for me dropping him may actually do the team the world of good.
