I get that but if you are going to spend big on a player at least play him in the position he is most comfortable at and the one he was playing in that made us spunk 50 mil on him. (and yes i know if he cost 50mil he should be able to play any position across the front line)

He's comfortable playing where he is. It's where he played for Swansea last season. He's just not a player who can dictate a game.

Also, Koeman plays a 3 man attack rather than have a player off the striker, so he's not gonna play as a number 10. His system doesn't allow it.

He's 31, the same age that Olivia Newton John was when she played Sandy. And two years younger than Frank Bruno was when he won the world title for the first time.

He'll be 32 in a few weeks, though.

In football years he's nearer 40 though. Same way he was nearer 25 physically when he was 16.

United are a different side without him slowing them down.

One of issues at the moment but still one of our better performance. Doesn't need to be dropping deep if hes picked to play up front. Rather see him used every couple of games without the other 2

He has been very difficult to accommodate in a team for 5 years now since he lost his burst of pace that enabled him to play as a 9. He is no good in midfield and gets in the way and slows down the play dropping deep when at 10. A lot of us saw this coming. He certainly puts in 100% but it just is not there. Very sad. It also appears the manager does not have the spine to drop him

A lot of us did but you still have the cultish maniacs who see Wayne as incapable of doing nothing wrong. He simply cannot start on Sunday, but he will, which is why Koeman has to go.
