Oh I've no doubt he does mate. Since Christmas, it has been a slog.
But if he thought a new manager was coming in he'd stay til January. He knows Allardyce is staying so he's off.
As William Kenwright would say, watch this space.

Disappointing if he is (Allardyce staying another year). But, for me Rooney going wouldn't be a loss either. Was sceptical about him coming back. Had a few decent games and a few 'moments' (goal v West Ham, and pen v RS). But his influence has diminished more and more, and his passing percentage straight to the opposition is on the rise.Oh I've no doubt he does mate. Since Christmas, it has been a slog.

Interesting this. Where has this come from? The fact he’s utter pony and show be playing for Marine?Rooney has been made aware that Everton would not stand in his way over a transfer away as Sam Allardyce searches to raise funds for next season. Allardyce cannot guarantee the former England captain games.
There are senior members of Everton's hierarchy who would like Rooney to stay on Merseyside - including chairman Bill Kenwright, who stated as much during an address at the club season awards last week. But it is believed owner Farhad Moshiri currently concurs with Allardyce's assessment of the situation.

It must be annoying for Americans when they see absolute bloaters like this rocking up in their league. How is it ever meant to progress if players like Rooney are going over and stunting the development of young American players?
