We haven't bought a quality forward since Richarlison

Thinking that Kenwright has the final say on signings is complete nonsense, Moshiri as the owner has the final say, to believe otherwise is just delusional.

I suggest you read the recent set of answers given by the Everton Board to questions posed by the Fan Advisory Board. you will find Mr Kenwright very much does have the final say.

We haven’t bought an out and out goalscorer since Lukaku.
That’s always been a mystery to me. Given the stature of Everton we have had very few real out and out goal scorers going back many years. I’m talking a goal every other game ratio more or less. Lukaku was the most recent but before that I’m struggling to name one in recent times although my memory might be going. Has there been another since Lineker?

No we haven't, but they'd have quickly turned into the next Brett Angel when they came here anyway.

No decent striker will want to come to this basket case of a club until the culture is changed from within because they aren't going to progress here.

Yes, Tony Bloom Brightons owner owns them also.

Nice one mate.

One of the things i find curious about the potential MSP Investment, is it could be a pathway to a mutli club model, with varying stakes in FC Augsburg, G.D. Estoril Praia (Portugal), AD Alcorcon (Spain) and SK Beveren (Beglium). Is there potential there for the type of synergy we are seeing with Brighton and Union in terms of player development - also wonder is that model a sneaky way of getting finance into the club - by that i mean if we loan say Tom Cannon to Beveren and we get a loan fee, its essentially a way ownership can put money into the club.

Haven't seen the potential synergy and possible advantages of the mutli club model mentioned much in terms of their potential investment.

True enough, I've always advocated for patience and letting young players play, even Davies has been mismanaged. Although something Brighton do is farm them out to a club in Belgium until they are ready
They don't - they send them for a year loan somewhere, sometimes closer to home, then give them a year or two to develop with them by actually letting them play.

We're not letting Simms play because he's "inexperienced", as if that matters in the year 2023 lol

Davies started off decently but we should've let go a while back, he's an exceptionally limited footballer and somehow always the slowest one on the pitch.

I think you'll find the reality is Moshiri has the final say on any major financial transactions the club instigate.
