I have to say, that’s kinda a insane question. Firstly the first Irish immigrants to the US were treated absolutely horrendously, and secondly there’d be nothing stopping the Irish having migrated to those countries regardless - what would definitely be different is that the Irish language would still be being predominantly spoken in Ireland not English, and realistically we’d have been genocided a lot less - but we also wouldn’t have our best rebel songs… so swings and roundabouts
