Not a case of population in raw form though. 1 million Americans are very different to 1 million Kenyans. I would say a bigger concern than the raw global population stats is the growing levels of consumption in China. When 1 billion start buying and consuming more then that puts our few million extra people into perspective.

Can you imagine an honestly fair world though?

It would be utterly awful. Everything that went bad in your life you'd know was what you deserved, if somebody else had more money or a better life you'd know, entirely know that that's because they're better than you.

There'd be no compassion because everyone would know you'd got what you deserved. And you would be unable to do anything but accept your ****ty life as your due.
