True, but Im much more concerned about the people who were born here (and actually conform to the British way of life) than anyone else. But yep, no matter who you are, it would be awful. Some think its cool though!
I still can't get that worked up about less than 4% of the population, mind.

It would take some doing for 4% of the population to become the majority so as to introduce Sharia law for everyone in the country. Mind you never let somethings get in the way of good old scaremongering.

I'll repeat, taking into account birth rates, immigration and migration I firmly believe it will be a horrible place to live if youre English, and I'll add and for anyone else that matter. 20-30 years time come back to me with your 4%. The 4% already have very loud voices as it is! Anyway, I do feel like most of my GOT time is spent talking about stuff like this, which isn't what its meant for. It used to be fun.

Maybe so but tell me why a minority who have only really been here in numbers for about 20 years already have a separate law system in place? Forgetting the morals and ethics of sharia, that's just simply not right. And its really not an obsession. Its just a hot topic at the moment and from someone who comes from somewhere that has been deeply negatively affected by Islam I feel I can offer an alternative view to the ones the left wing media present, and even groups like the BNP present. I feel my views are fairly middle ground. Its about intergration and tolerance of others. I believe sharia and some forms of Islam promote neither. This is the only place I talk about it because it keeps being brought up. Just look at all other countries in the world where sharia is enforced, then apply it to how well the general population is treated then bring that over here. Not a pretty picture.

Exactly. I don't believe sharia law can stand any test of time in a modern educated democracy. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous scaremongering.
The irony is that the likes of the EDL play massively into the hands of any aggressive Islamic groups by creating an enemy to rally against.

What you fail to grasp is they don't intergrate into our modern educated society. They live in separate pockets of their home countries, only mixing with eachother and allowing the form of ideology to grow amongst eachother. Major mosques in Britain have been caught out preaching hate to thousands. I'm not saying they'll all take it literally and start blowing us up, but some will and it snowballs. If we ever met Im sure youd be thrilled for me to take you around certain areas and youll see exactly what Im talking about.
