Just to add here I am a keen Labour supporter. I believe in strong employment protection for the country's workforce but I do accept in practical terms there has to be a bar below which it is termed "low quality/casual labour". Every single job cannot be subject to the same employment laws.

Why not ? Why should those that have better well paid jobs be better protected than those who earn a pittance......

Two seconds on google:

- she worked as a dinner lady for 11 years

Her employer has said: "there was a full and transparent procedure that she went through, as well as an appeals procedure, which she lost"

She has said she is considering challenging her dismissal and said: "It's something I'll have to think about, because it's my livelihood."

From all that it is clear she does have employment rights so IF the decision was unjust then it will be challenged. If indeed there is more to this that a Daily Star / UKIP banner headline then she'll sink without trace after her 15 minutes of fame.

Lol standard argument of bringing daily mail or ukip into it. Surprised you haven't mentioned the BNP or the EDL. Tit.

There has to be some flexibility in the workforce. Someone just stated on a part time job can not expect the same protection as someone 30 years in as a site foreman at a dockers yard.

End of story.

She'd done this a lot according to her head teacher. She had a couldn't care less attitude and wasn't arsed about the diversity of the kids she was there to cater to.

I referenced trashy tabloids and trashy political parties because this is ridiculous chip paper fodder.

Woman gets sacked from a job after a due process. She whinges and tries to play the race card. Standard cohorts of the far right rally to her cause but nobody stops to say "hang on if you were wrongly sacked then challenge it and you'll get redress".

You only have one side to the story. If there is more to it then it'll come out.

She's probably in the EDL.

Lol and he's mentioned 'far right'.

You're a stereotype right there. Get your cock out of the tree and wake up to what's going on. If this was any other kid from any other religion this wouldn't of happened. Because its a muslim issue she's been sacked. THAT is the issue.

Why not ? The length of service is taken into consideration anyway in any payment, so why shouldn't the standard protection to the employee be any different ? ........

So it's the 'far right' that wants to protect her job and Labour supporters like yourself that don't give a crap.......can you see any irony in this.......
