I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I was impressed by Rom's dignified and respectful response to his fantastic goal, not celebrating because of their being a team he's played for.

I found it a bit clichéd and he made a bit of a big deal of not celebrating. Plus Naismith looked like a nutter for jumping on him and going mad while Rom was holding his hands up and looking at the floor.

I thought the opposite.

I thought he and Barry controlled the game, protected the back four well and allowed the likes of Naismith and co a platform to perform.

Yep, agreed. The number of times Barry broke up play and found a clever ten-yard pass to turn the play around and get us moving up the pitch. Not a spectacle, but very solid. Look at his passing on Four Four Two. More impressive than what McCarthy did with the ball. But no big sliding tackles.
