Yep, agreed. The number of times Barry broke up play and found a clever ten-yard pass to turn the play around and get us moving up the pitch. Not a spectacle, but very solid. Look at his passing on Four Four Two. More impressive than what McCarthy did with the ball. But no big sliding tackles.
Barry looked like the international break was exactly what he needed. Compare his last thirty minutes yesterday to his last thirty minutes against Chelsea - it's like watching two completely different players. The irony is that, because of this, Jags had a much easier game than he did against Chelsea.
