I'm guessing youre responding to someone i have on ignore.

I wonder how they would get on in China or Japan reading things backwards and vertically...

for the camera nerds: Phil Askey used to do it all the time on dpreview...as he was the boss no one dared say anything lol I did it too for ages, had to be weaned off eventually as it riles a lot of people for some odd reason.

Anyway, the lad you have on ignore is a good egg, just has acid in his words sometimes...hope you two figure it out x

A point is ok but if we have any aspirations of top 5 we need to be turning the West Hams of this world over. Man for man we are far superior.
A point there given their form this season is a good result.

Expecting 3 away at the likes of West Ham is daft

We need to be beating teams at home, that's where we've fallen slightly short this season so far. We've averaged 1.5 points per game away from so far, which if combined with stronger home form would have seen us in the top 4.

Was shocked to have seen West hams depth in the striking department. No Sakho and losing Valencia but they still have Carroll, Zarate and Jelavic. One injury to lukaku meanwhile and we are stuck with just Kone and Naismith.

Kone and Naismith are both better than Zarate and Jelavic like.

If Rom gets injured between now and January we'll need to get someone in in January but if he doesn't then I think we'll be sound until summer.

........thought it was probably a fair result. Deulofeu can pick a pass and it's good that we have Lukaku on the receiving end.

Said it before but worth saying again because the weight and curve on that pass from deulefeu thru 2 defenders for Lukaku to run onto was exquisite. Haven't seen anyone in a blue shirt who can do that and cross the ball at will in front our our centre forwards since Kevin Sheedy. Feel free to suggest anyone

Not necessarily mate. Bilic is very tactically astute as a manager. It was a good tactical game between the managers that yesterday. Only once did we expose West Ham on the break when Lukaku scored. That was how we set up to play after 20 mins and after half time they snuffed that out. But as we were stifling their tactics it would've only taken one lapse of concentration for us to be in again with any of lukaku, Mirallas, deulefeu, Kone etc. All in all a fair result.

.......there were a few fine crosses of a football in that Sheedy team, not least Steven and Stevens. I remember Linkeker saying the crosses were so good you only had to get your head on them to score. I'm a fan of Deulofeu, his pedigree coming through the ranks at Barcelona suggests quality and that is certainly the case.

Yeah forgotten about Trevor Steven. Yeah he would be up there and actually may be he might a better comparison with deulefeu than Sheeds? I think deulefeu reminds me of Sheeds more because his work rate seems far less than mccarthy / barkely / barry who remind me bracewell / steven / reid in the jobs they do in the formation we play (as opposed to comparing skill levels).

Maybe. Didn't see enough of Beardsley as i was mainly working abroad mainly when he played for us.

Beardsley is a bit of a forgotten man, mostly because his RS-association is more well-known to the wider football world. But he was excellent for us, and that Del through-ball yesterday was pure Beardsley.
