Agree with that in general mate - except Boruc hasn't played for Southampton for nearly 2 years haha! Forster is a good keeper for them but he's injured all season - Stekelenurg is okay but not as good as Howard.

Adrian is a good keeper but yeh, not world class. Lloris is by far the best keeper after De Gea, Hart, Cech and Courtois - possibly even as good as Cech and Hart.

Thanks for correcting me! same point though about Forster / Steklenberg. It's just a personal hunch but i don't think there is much to differentiate anyone from 4th to 10th right now except the keepers. Schmeichel has been in superb form for leicester too. Butland is young and good but still below what you'd class as world class being cech, de gea, courtois and possibly Hart.

The Cutting edge is what we need. Apart from away at Southampton early on in the season ..where have we looked like out doing our opponents .. the points where there to be taken yesterday ..2nd half we just didn,t capitalise ..

To be honest, thought the ref hugely favored us. Those kind of decisions at Goodison and the ground would have gone mental. If Maccer had been sent off I would have had no complaints. Horrible tackle intended to injure Payet, which it did.

If you're a West Ham fan then you are also probably reasoning right now why didn't we (West Ham) go for it, the match was there for winning. But had they gone for it (and arguably the onus was on them being the home side to go for a win in a big way) then Everton were perfectly set up to win the match on the counter attack like we did on 43mins. 2nd half they didn't let us do that once by playing a more defensive game. It was a tactically well matched game and credit to both teams and managers imho.

I would have taken a point at the start of the match

Dead right but after Payet went off and then Valencia, WHU offered nothing upfront and were there for the taking. But we lacked the final ball or whatever, a lot like the Swansea away game. Barkley having a mare and Miralles not doing much did not help.
