The players just dont think they can win at under 12s table tennis let alone a premier league match.

Our luck is incredibly bad, VDB injury, Creseell goal, Iwobi ghost control, the rebound could have went anywhere, Keane card and suspension - Doucoure fouled in the build up.

Awful luck.
Hmm we also score a very lucky goal....

We literally shot ourselves in both feet today, poor, poor challenge from Holgate for the first which as ever we were punished for, back in it at 1-1 and on top and Iwobi switches off, having said that again where the error occurs Antonio has a free run in on goal, overall an improvement but "unprofessional" time and time again,Personally my feelings when Keane was booked were we should have taken him off and reshuffled with Branthwaite, total accident waiting to happen, at least he will not be involved Wednesday night.

Cannot believe he started Iwobi, then did not sub him off. How bad must Alli be that Iwobi gets in ahead of him.

Gordon is a must from now on.
God no. A bad team cant have a player like Gordon without a little bit of tactical understanding. Look at his stats. He is losing the most balls and he plays only for himself.

6 defeats in 8 league games. Every new manager deserves a chance but I’ve seen absolutely no improvement in the team, tactics or most importantly the results.
Whilst I somehow think that's still down to the utter dogs we have available, I can't help but think there may be a time, now, perhaps, that he should have a massive rethink, and just throw some yoof at it. Can it get any worse? Hell, it's us, so maybe, but who knows, until you try?

Went for Godfrey as MOTM, he is finally looking like the quick powerfully athlete who loves a tackle that he was pre COVID. The performance wasn't as bad today as it has been in recent aways. Keane killed us, he had no reason to make either of those challenges, but, his lack of pace and lack of a football brain, caused him to make rash decisions. At least we don't go to Burnley on the back of another hammering, this is the important on for us. If we don't lose at Burnley, we are likely to get away with it and stay up. God help us next season though.

Was good today but even he had an "Iwobi" moment in the first half which fortunately we got away with, these individual errors are going to kill us I fear.

Not disputing Iwobi’s part in their 2nd goal but Keane’s fannying just before that shows why we are so very bad and create so little.

Richarlison had pushed into space on the left and is showing for the ball. A simple pass to him puts us on the attack and pegs West Ham back.

Instead Keane stumbles round in a circle and passes a nothing ball to Iwobi, who is just in front of him, the rest is history.

Had Iwobi controlled the ball, the next pass looked as if it would naturally go backwards to Kenny or Godfrey.

We see the individual mistakes but the underlying negativity and lack of ambition (cowardice ?) is what’s killing us.
Wouldn’t argue with that - it’s the worst defence in the league and top of that Keane,Godfrey, holgate,Kenny are totally incapable of passing the ball - hence the backwards and sideways passes when better options are on. Teams know - just let them have it and they’ll eventually give it away.

It needs such a revamp that even if we survive this year we’ll be absolute guarantees to go down next year if a proper clear out and full set of replacements procured

youth?

We didn't crumble today though. Yes we lost because of the quality of players available imo but the players actually put a shift in and tried. Largely unlucky today overall and two individual errors costing us. Compared to other games this season I see improvement. If we play like that against Burnley we'll win.
Not that simple sadly. West Ham were well below par and hardly got out of first gear and still won. Burnley will be battling for their lives, roughing us up to a level way beyond what they normally do. So a different game altogether. Let's hope you are right.
