At least! They are mega scale. Big business/states/oligarchs took over the prem. They are corrupt as is the PL. It is all **** I have harped on for years about our clubs being stolen by these groups and now we suffer political window dressing to protect the corrupt PL. Bankrupt them all, legalise British ownership only, broadcast rights to BBC, ITV and Channel 4 only. Give us our clubs back and **** off the rest of the world and your TV entertainment/gambling hubs.
steady on Rob!

We have a job of work now to make this deduction irrelevant, first step is out competing Luton. Sheff Utd and Burnlet. Actually wouldnt be surprised to see one flip a manager now.

Meanwhile create hell for the PL and damage the brand as much as possible, anyone who think these bulbs can’t be put under pressure by raising tension, bad publicity and undermining its commercial attractiveness is fooling themselves.

Off the pitch, it’s a deeper skip fire, we are sailing very close to the 2ind, cash injections by s ropey potential owner are keeping us afloat, without that capital we are in administration and definite relegation, we should survive a minus 10, but a minus 19, no chance. Absolute skip fire.

Just wondering what fans think will happen next?

I think we'll be safe. Burnley, Sheffield Luton, Bournemouth and Fulham are worse than us and Wolves Palace and Forest aren't exactly pulling up trees. We'll be ok.
I think we will be ok as well, Just. That thing was what would happen, if all what i said actually did happen. But whatever way i like all would rather know now. you cant apply a deduction now, then not give an answer to an appeal in same season - would be totally wrong (i want it known fast as well, not a few weeks before the end). If anything, though i wouldnt even do this, it should have been suspeneded, then appealed, then whatever happened then added to the league

I don`t have a problem with us getting 10 point deduction if we broke the rules, so long as the same is dished out when other teams are found to have broken the same rules. So one charge, found guilty is 10 point deduction, let Chelsea and City get the same if found guilty.
It's not just City and Chelsea , there are others in the pipeline, Leicester themselves being one, notts forest must be sailing close to the wind with all the incoming they have in the future.

I believe this. Before the PL British clubs. Especially you know who, were brilliant in Europe without this corrupt, buy up the worlds best players so called league. Capitalism is creative and if not contained immensley corrupt and destructive. The PL is as scummy as it gets.
yeah I'm actually with you on this but still want to be able to watch from the states.
In the early 90's I used to be able to get Radio Merseyside on AM from my bedroom just north of Dublin.
Used to sit there drawing pictures of everton players listening to midweek games with the radio perched at the optimum angle and avoid doing any homework.
I was a weird kid!

Yea, they arent loadad and financially dodgy as all hell but get the impression they'll be far better equipped to handle an appeal than whats there now!
Apparently DBB and Ingles did very little to contribute to Evertons case. Seems like the club didnt take it as seriously as they should have.

The club need to go on a major press offensive before the Man United game.
Ex players, media personell, journos and fans need to keep banging on about the injustice of this, sho when Everton fans unveil controversial banners, the PL will have a much harder time fining the club.
I'm not sure how to keep this on the national stage. I dont advocate for harrassing anyone but the press should be looking for answers from the PL and the independent board.
The fans should come up with something for every home and away game that captures the public imagination.
Someone should make a short concise youtube video pointing out the injustice and hope that the likes of Wolves/palace/even west ham fans get on board.

This punishment has once again shown that the big 6 (and newcastle) are now totally untouchable.
The only way to join the elite is to be bought by a hostile dictatorship!
What has football become?!
I'm pleasantly surprised at some of the reaction from other fans.

Fans of the bigger clubs couldn't give a toss, outside of the implications for Man City and Chelsea.

Perhaps other fans and the wider football public will now recognise that every other club is fair game.

The implications of this are much greater for a club like Wolves than Chelsea in my opinion. We have to get support where we can. It's the top 7 and the other 13. And the EFL as well.

Leicester and Burnley and the likes won't see it that way of course. But that's a narrow minded view. The PL is a cabal run by the big six, now big seven. Lesser clubs are asked to leave the room during routine meetings. They've left us to fight it out with Burnley, Luton etc, whilst they get on with business. Fight it out on the pitch and possibly now in the courts whilst they pave the way for a superleague and games in Dubai and Saudi.

The club have said they'll appeal.
Myers has said the appeal will be heard by a different board before the end of the season.
Meanwhile there seems to be a fan base united by the injustice of the harsh punishment.
What do we do?
Is protesting the right course of action, will it jeopardise any appeal.
If fans do protest, what form does it take.
We seem to have way more press for us than against us at the moment.

Will we get in trouble for controversial banners at the United match.
Do we have enough leadership behind the scenes to see this through.
Does it effect the 777 takeover, maybe Moshiri lowers his price and attracts someome who actually has the finances to take over when this is all done.

So many unknowns :(

Stopped reading at Myers.

Rally against the corrupt premier league en mass at every single game from now onwards, goodison in particular highlighting their corruption and no letting up even if it ends up being reduced or reversed. Time has come to make a stand. These corrupt gits have been hammering us at every opportunity and literally made us sell all our best players at reduced prices to keep our books in order putting us in consecutive relegation battles and then still hit us with an absolutely preposterous punishment for something they themselves say gave no sporting advantage. It is akin to getting 30 years for going through a red light.

Feck em sidways now. All out war imo.
