What should the new stadium look like?

Please stop the Lucas Oil stadia comparisons PLEASE. It's an ugly, boring stadium. It's not modern, it's only classic in an Indiana barn type of sense. That makes sense there, but not on the Mersey. Modern, bold.

It is not unusual for families in Liverpool/NW to be split between Red and Blue support. Mine is.

Of course. I said it's normal for families.

But is a kid born growing up in a Man U supporting family going to say "No, I don't want to support Man U, I want to support Everton"? Maybe one in 10,000.

Is a kid growing up in an Augsburg supporting family going to say "No, I want to support Bayern Munich."? This is far more likely.

If a kid is growing up in a family with no real support of a team, will he or she choose Everton over the other big teams in the NW?

Like I say, it's not a bad thing, it's natural because the other teams have more success or are challenging at this moment.

Anyway, this came about because someone said if Bayern can do it, why can't we? If people cannot see the difference, I cannot help.

Signal Iduna Park is THE stadium atm. Ask anyone fron anywhere in the world (who knows even the basics about footy) and that stadium is in their top 3.

Really? I've been there many a time and it has a great atmosphere and huge attendance but the facilities and external design aren't striking at all.

I'm kinda wanting something retro and industrial in style as "modern" designs can date badly. Realky just hoping for nothing too wacky like an egg slicer or something that looks like genitalia.
