To be fair the only other option is Magaye Gueye.

Not sure we've seen enough of him to be making such sweeping statements.

He only gets about 10-20 minutes at the end of a game so he's probably just eager to make an impression. He's shown more of a spark in those cameos than Mirallas has all season.
 
I'd only put Deulofeu on with a victory in sight - say, 1-0 up with 15-20 minutes to go. He'd be the most awkward [Poor language removed] to deal with for a team chasing the game.

He cant be a starter though, that'd be lunacy.
 

I'd be tempted to make a slight change as been a bit stale over the past few games and almost a bit predictable, Maybe Naismith in or even go 4-2-3-1 with Mirallas pushed up

It's very typical of us really. Young player gets a game, doesn't set the world on fire and all of a sudden he's rubbish. We've done it to so many youngsters now I've lost count

He's looked fine because he's not really done anything. I really cannot think of anything of note he has done. I think people are usually the opposite with youngsters. Most youngsters are over rated because it is potential that a lot will fail to fulfil. Oviedo isn't the worst player but I see no reason to suggest he is anywhere close to a first team player.
 
Saturday's team maybe affected by what happened at Palace when Mirallas was subbed and did not sit in the dug out with the rest of the team. I wonder why he went straight to the changing rooms? Is that why Martinez is saying that Deulofeu may play?

Same team as Palace except Barkley for Ossie.
 

Liverpool were dominated by Newcastle in the first half of their game (obviously the sending off changed matters at HT). They played a 4-1-4-1 that might suit us:

Or take out Pienaar, slot in Deulofeu and move the wingers forward for a 4-3-3.

I know it was Stevenage and Fulham in the cup but his delivery was excellent on crosses. If he doesn't start vs Hull, I struggle to see who he will start against to be honest. He is the only one in the everton team who gets me excited. Mirallas is really overrated IMO, great skill and that but 1 in 5 he will have a decent game.

note - by overrated I mean people think he is worth around 15m. He is worth about 10-12m max
