Meant to be great in there...have you been to Derek's on Allerton Rd?
I like both so take whatever is on offer at the time …. Love beetroot, although I am partial to the more expensive sweet and fiery beetroot I get from Tesco on occasion.
As an aside, I was at a birthday gathering for niece’s 21st yesterday evening and was introduced to the wonders of the following..
Venison sausages
Sticky sausages (oooo errrr misses)
The venison ones were more like a beef sausage rather than pork but were very nice.
The sticky sausages were normal ordinary Richmond sausages but coated in a warm honey/soy sauce/bbq glaze…. They were amazing

The rain, it raineth every day
I occasionally cook them, when they're not ridiculously expensive. Either roast them, or gently boil. A bit fiddly getting the skins off, but taste lovely when they're warm.
