He said "Top 6."

I agree, just like our old manager, Lloris is on he's way down but even you would have to admit that it's very over optimistic to be giving the Everton defence a 10/10 with Pickford being part of it.
Tell you what, lets forget about the dodgy keeper and if you really think about it, how can Everton's back four be a 10/10 defence :hayee:
He posted that the defense is top 10, as in out of the 20 teams, not rated 10/10, FFS.

You're correct, I read it wrong ;).

You was wrong as well, he had Everton to finish 6th, not 10th like you claimed FFS.
You're reading everything wrong so because all I posted was that he said the defence was top 10.

You're very involved in another teams where will WE finish thread, popping in to mention weaknesses in our squad. Its all you seem to do.

Not true at all that I only write negatively about Everton,
I've already wrote that you will improve and will get 7th or 8th.

P.S. If you don't like what I write, put me on ignore

If Allan and Rodriguez hit the ground running, and if one or two other starters are brought in, I'd hope to be competing for Europe at the business end of the season. It's been a long time since Everton have had something to play for in May.

I knew what I meant if you didn’t

I meant I rated Everton defence as a top half (positions 1 to 10) rated defence I.e. Better than Spurs but overall as a team, I think we will finish top 6.

So both myself and TippEverton read it wrong in two different ways :hayee:.
Thanks for clarifying my Lord ;).

If
I'm pretty sure for 7th place to get a European spot it would need a top 6 team to win the F.A. cup.
If all three signings play together it improvement. But if for any reason they dont, injury, suspension of rotation, it's back to the usual suspects! Don't expect to much. Squad is not good enough. First eleven top eight, squad mid table.

You see these type of threads a lot and most people say we can’t finish higher than 8th because their looking at other teams and the players they’ve signed. Other teams don’t matter, the only thing that matters is how many games you win. The Don will have a target, my guess is between 17 and 20 wins, factoring in approx 10 draws and we’re looking at 65-70 points. Achieve that and it really doesn’t matter how good other teams are, history shows you will be top 6 pushing towards top 4. The problem is getting a winning team with confidence and momentum, but that’s why you bring in a world class manager and back him!

We're not getting 70 points next season

For the record that would have put us 3rd this season.

You're expecting us to win more than United did and lose less than City did next season?

We finished with 49 points. If we hit high 50's it would have been a massive improvement.

The so called experts, I always like to see what they think of us lol

Robbie Savage's season predictions for all,

Champions – LIVERPOOL
Runners-up – MANCHESTER UNITED
3rd – CHELSEA
4th – MANCHESTER CITY
5th - ARSENAL
6th – WOLVES
7th – TOTTENHAM
8th – EVERTON

Like Tottenham, their barren run without a trophy – now 25 years – is unacceptable for a big club. Carlo Ancelotti is a proven winner who didn't come to Merseyside to tread water, and he has lined up an exciting, new-look midfield. But in the Premier League jungle, I can't see them breaking into the top four yet.

9th – SOUTHAMPTON
10th – LEICESTER
11th – SHEFFIELD UNITED
12th – BURNLEY
13th – WEST HAM
14th – LEEDS
15th – BRIGHTON
16th – CRYSTAL PALACE
17th – NEWCASTLE
18th – ASTON VILLA
19th – FULHAM
20th - WEST BROM
