It’s very hard to say exactly where we will finish. I don’t think we will make the top 3, but think we should be above the bottom 6. We should be somewhere in the middle, I hope we’re 4th, but I think we will be 8th or 9th, looking to go higher the following season. If we can get a really good start, my expectations could bet higher.

I’m siding with McNulty on the caution front. We’re going in the right direction and hopefully we’re higher, but as of yet there’s still dross in the squad.

We need to see how the players gel together and factor in potential injuries to key players leaving us short.

....I think he was more saying he was taking a risk predicting we would finish that high.

The media and wider public seem underwhelmed with our signings, which I think is understandable. We need to show it on the pitch.

Last season, our frontline was rubbish because the midfield couldn't suply them. Our defence was rubbish because our midfield couldn't protect them.
Our midfield will now provide and protect. We are finishing top 4

I think 8th myself. Whilst on paper our new starting XI looks great it has to both gel & stay fit whereas Wolves side already perform well.
The league is stronger than ever as regards numbers. I think top 3 are standout and we could be in the mix with 5 others for the 4th CL spot

Us and Wolves have advantage of no European distraction and a lot will depend on luck with injuries and VAR

Personally I'd be happy with top 6 and a cup, but we'd need our key players to steer clear of injury for that to happen

Between 9th and 6th. Last season we had a negative goal difference. The defence is still there. The keepers still there. The midfield has been improved and it will offer more solid protection(its got to) but that keeper and defence, unless vast improvement, is mid table.

Really? Shocking considering we've just finished 12th and not won anything in 25 years

I like the optimism but there's not a chance of that happening in my humble opinion. 8th

Hopefully the new midfield will be able to tackle people and control the game. Last few games the midfield was over run.
